Roles and Responsibilities towards Importers

  • Provide a conducive trade environment to small and medium sized importers and exporters.
  • Confidentially of any information given or obtained in favor of our clients in the course of our
    businesses.
  • Advise importers and exporters on their obligations during our trade process such as taxes and
    standards.
  • Negotiate better freight rates and insurance rates on behalf of all importers and exporters.
  • Preparing of all proper documentations for customs purposes in both country of export and import.
  • Proper and timely consolidation and deconsolidation of cargo at origin and at destination.
  • Follow up and ambition of any issues that may arise during the course of shipment or after.

Roles and responsibilities towards Consolidators.

  • Commitment of all members to respect the rules of economic competition and customers
    business. Competition among ourselves shall be done in an honorable and honest way.
  • We are obliged to respect and observe the laws, rules and regulations of the governments
    of the countries we deal in and tax governing bodies, stake holders; that is to say shipping
    companies and port authorities among others.
  • Abstinence from involvement in lawful cartels, agreements and trade practice in the
    objective of monopolization and gaining unwarranted advantage.
  • Risk alerts and important trade information sharing towards the association members.
  • We shall observe the internal regulations, timely payments of membership fees and
    participation in the association activities; that is to say attending meetings, responding to
    surveys and communications.
  • Follow and respect the codes of conduct of the association and where breach is proved,
    enforcements measures shall be accepted at industrial level.
